Edie Hand remembers being mentored by Gordon Edwards Burns, known to most as Country Boy Eddie. Edie shared that he taught her about sales and helped refine her hosting skills for his Saturday community events held on a trailer truck bed in parking lots across Alabama.
Country Boy Eddie is celebrating his 90th Birthday and Fred Hunter on FOX 6 TV will have a segment on December 14th after the 6 PM news about Eddie.
The Country Boy Eddie Show was long-running morning music, variety and talk show created and hosted by “Country Boy Eddie” Burns. It aired from February 1957 to December 31, 1993.
