Merry Christmas from The Edie Hand Foundation
This has been an exciting year for many of us and challenging for others. Somehow we managed to weather any storms we encountered and now we have New Year’s just weeks away, and that holds the potential of a fresh start for all of us.
The Edie Hand Foundation has had an active year and I have been very busy working on various projects to raise funds for cancer research and boosting the visibility of some of my books in order to turn them into movies for television.
The foundation continues to support both local and national charity programs. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is one of the main beneficiaries of the Edie Hand Foundation and working alongside Terre Thomas to raise funds to further their work has been a true calling. The photo above is from the Fedex and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Golf Tournament in Memphis. Also pictured to the right is Terre Thomas, singer Victoria Renee Hand (who donated profits from her song to St Jude, ‘A Better Tomorrow’ visit iTunes to download), and Edie Hand.
Additionally, I continued to donate books, thousands of dollars in services, and speaking fees to help raise awareness and funds for our various beneficiaries including The Norma Livingston Ovarian Cancer Foundation, Hope and Healing at
Hillengladewhich supports veterans and first responders rehabilitation programs, Children’s of Alabama, and Kulture City program for children with autism.
I would like to thank you for your support and previous donations to help further our work in making the world a better place to raise our children. In order to continue our work and expand our efforts please consider making a donation to The Edie Hand Foundation this holiday season. To donate online just click the Donate button at the bottom of the page.
As always, I wish you and your families and loved ones a very Merry Christmas and many blessings throughout the year.
