Suzanne Garber has led a life that has been challenging, took her all over the globe working as an executive with FedEx, endured cancer, and partnered with Global Action to build and support orphanages in India and Uganda, as well as independently supporting an orphanage in Brazil. While in Brazil, she learned to speak Portuguese to better communicate with her staff.
Recognizing there were major issues with international travelers when they got sick overseas she created a company, Gauze that compiled the largest database of hospitals outside the United States connecting 1.4 billion international travelers with healthcare facilities.
She is now the CEO of the Rise Up fund.
